Bollworm traps continue to catch substantial moths. Tobacco budworm counts were steady in the Northeastern and Central regions, but dropped in the Delta after a large spike last week. I have not been reporting fall armyworm counts this year, but 2 traps in Oktibbeha County have been monitored all year with very few moths (<10 per wk) captured until this week. This past week one trap had 422 moths, so it appears fall armyworms have finally arrived in quantity, much later than normal.
