Bobby Golden Assigned Extension Responsibility for Mississippi Rice

Dr. Jeff Johnson, Head of the Delta Research and Extension Center, has assigned responsibility for Extension in rice to Dr. Bobby Golden.  Dr. Golden will serve in this capacity until a suitable candidate is identified for the Rice Agronomist/Extension Specialist position, which is currently open at the Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville.  Dr. Golden’s responsibilities in rice will be answering questions and solving field problems related to agronomics and soil fertility, and he will maintain his work in soil fertility in corn, soybean, and cotton.  Dr. Golden brings a wealth of experience in rice, both in production and research/Extension, to the team of scientists working in rice at the Delta Research and Extension Center.

Until the role of Rice Agronomist/Extension Specialist is filled, Extension responsibilities for rice will be handled as follows:
