During the 2015 season, a Maturity Group III variety trial was conducted at the North Mississippi Research and Extension Center (NMREC) in Verona, MS.  In addition to the disease ratings conducted, plots were also harvested for yield.  The attached report outlines the disease rating information as well as plot yields for 20 different MG III varieties.  A different seeding rate was also used for several of the varieties.  Seed rate differences are presented within the tables, but in general ranged from 140,000 to 180,000 seed/acre.
