Bollworm pheromone moth trap catches were up sharply this week in the Delta region, signalling the beginning of another generation. The next 2-3 weeks will likely be most critical for monitoring bollworm pressure in cotton and late soybeans. Tobacco budworm moth catches were up slightly, but will generally make up a small proportion of the overall heliothine population.
