The season is winding down, but corn earworm moths are still relatively abundant in the environment. Most crops are beyond susceptible growth stages, but there are still some late beans that can be damaged by corn earworm. This week’s moth catches were similar to higher than last week and about average for this time of year. Tobacco budworm moth catches continued to be somewhat elevated in 3 Delta counties.
