During 2025 rice delphacid infested rice in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi.  This pest is difficult to control.  As a result a Section 18 Exemption for Courier in rice for rice delphacid control was requested.  Mississippi recently received a Section 18 Emergency Use Exemption for Courier in rice. This exemption is effective from April 1, 2026 until March 19, 2029 (essentially a 3 year period). The Section 18 Label for Mississippi is attached.  Courier is an insect growth regulator and has activity on the immature stages.  As demonstrated in efficacy trials during 2025, Courier should be tank-mixed with either Transform or Tenchu (both labeled in rice) for effective control of rice delphacid.  Section 18 Courier FINAL APPROVED LABEL
