Joint MEA/MAPPAN/MWSS Annual Meeting and Roundtable Discussion
The 3rd annual joint MEA/MAPPAN/MWSS annual meeting will be held next week at the Bost Extension Building in Starkville, MS next week. The dates of the meeting are Monday and Tuesday October 21-22. We have a very informative and exciting program planned for the meeting. The meeting will kick off Monday afternoon with a Row Crop Roundtable to openly discuss critical insect, disease, and weed issues impacting the production of agronomic crops in Mississippi. Monday evening will include an industry sponsored steak supper and social. Tuesday morning will kick off with the MEA student competitions and the MAPPAN general session. Monday afternoon will include a special Lygus Symposium to honor the long and prosperous career of Dr. Gordon Snodgrass. I encourage everyone to attend this years meeting.
