The dates for the 2014 Scout Schools have now been set. We will be providing detailed information on identification, biology, thresholds, and management of the major insect and disease pests of Mississippi row crops. These trainings can also be used to renew your insect and disease consultants license and CEU’s for Certified Crop Advisors will be provided at each. The meetings will also serve as In-Service training opportunities for MSU-ES agents as well. These trainings are great for the experienced and the inexperienced. There is no need to register, just show up.

Each meeting will be from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and lunch will be provided. Each meeting will be free of charge to anyone wanting to attend.

May 28th – North Mississippi Research and Extension Center at Verona

May 29th – Delta Research and Extension Center at Stoneville

June 4th – Clay Lyle Entomology Building in Starkville

June 5th – Coahoma County Extension Office in Clarksdale
