Heliothine Pheromone Trap Counts, July 28, 2017

Bollworm moth trap catches fell dramatically in the Delta region this week, signalling the end of moth emergence from the generation that developed on corn. There were still enough moths caught that susceptible crops can have an infestation, but pressure should be manageable. Tobacco budworm catches remained low throughout the state.
