Trap catches were up sharply in the Delta region this week. We are now four weeks since the last large bollworm moth flight, so this increase in moth numbers is no surprise. Tobacco budworm catches remained extremely low in the Delta, so nearly all Heliothine eggs and larvae found in the Delta should be assumed to be bollworms at this time.
