Bollworm pheromone trap catches for the week remained relatively high in the Delta region, especially in Washington county. Tobacco budworm counts remain low in all counties. As corn matures past silk stage, fewer bollworm eggs will be laid in corn, with a greater percentage laid in cotton and soybean, so all should remain vigilant for bollworm infestations in susceptible crops.
