Bollworm pheromone moth trap catches in our trap line surprisingly declined in the Delta region this week again, but increased slightly in Northeastern MS. However, one trap in Quitman county not normally reported here had 645 bollworm moths in it this week, so there are some moths flying at this time, and isolated egg and larval infestations should be expected. Tobacco budworms increased slightly in the Delta this week, but are still at relatively low densities.
