Heliothine Trap Catches, September 6, 2019

Bollworm moth catches were lower in the Delta but higher in the Northeastern Hill region of the state this week compared to last week. Tobacco budworm catches were lower than last week’s peak, but still higher than during most of the year. Most crops are matured beyond where these insects cause much damage, so this will be the last posting of trap catches for 2019.
