Drought Conditions Continue to Plague Mississippi

Attached is the latest U.S. Drought Monitor for Mississippi.  Areas across the state continue to be way below the normal rainfall to date.  Stoneville MS  AWS (Automated Weather Station ) recorded only 6.96 inches of rain since January 1st. In 2025 Stonville AWS recorded 19.35 of rain since January 1st, and in 2024 Stoneville AWS recorded 26.94 since January the 1st.
