Heliothine Trap Catches, July 16, 2026

Bollworm moth trap catches remained at similar substantial levels again this week. The big change this week was a large increase in tobacco budworm trap catches in most of the Delta counties this week. All Bt cotton varieties will control tobacco budworm, so the bigger impact of tobacco budworm pressure will be in soybeans. Be sure to monitor susceptible crops closely for these pests at this time.
