Bollworm pheromone moth trap catches were steady to higher this week and about average for this time of year. Tobacco budworm moth catches dropped slightly this week, but are still a bit higher than the long-term average in the Delta region. As attractive fields become scarce, the attractive fields remaining may see high pressure even when traps would not predict it, so be careful to scout remaining attractive fields for heliothine eggs and larvae.
